  15. appeared in Gorillas in the Mist; after being shot; in Rwanda.
  16. Local wildlife experts speculate that Mrithi was mistakenly shot
  17. in the forest by a soldier or rebel in the country's raging civil
  18. war. Mrithi became a popular tourist attraction as a result of
  19. the work of biologist Dian Fossey.
